In an August 26 invitation round, Ontario’s Provincial Nominee Program – the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program [OINP] – invited 703 Canada immigration candidates that might qualify for the OINP’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities [HCP] stream and have specific work experience as well.
The latest OINP draw took into consideration profiles that had been created in Canada’s Express Entry system between August 26, 2019 and August 26, 2020.
Notifications of Interest [NOIs] were issued by the OINP by targeted occupations and went out to candidates that had a Comprehensive Ranking System [CRS] score between 466 and 475.
All those receiving an NOI can now proceed to submitting their online application to the OINP within 45 calendar days of having received their NOI.
Occupations targeted in the latest OINP draw from the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream had the following National Occupational Classification [NOC] Codes – 0111, 0124, 0601, 1111, 1114, 1122, 3012, 3124, and 3132.
In order to be eligible for a nomination by the OINP through the Human Capital Priorities Stream, an applicant must possess work experience in any of the NOC codes eligible.
As per the OINP, by targeting specific occupations that are in demand in the province, the OINP is “helping to make it easier for businesses to recruit top talent from around the world”.
21 entrepreneurs also received invitations – through the Entrepreneur stream – from the OINP on August 26, 2020. Candidates considered eligible for receiving invitations through the entrepreneur stream were required to have submitted their Expression of Interest [EOI] profiles between November 22, 2019, and August 21, 2020.
