On January 15th Ontario held the latest Tech Draw, granting 954 invites to applicants for Express Entry. In this draw, the cut-off point was between 460 and 472.
How could you be seen in the Tech Draw?
To be eligible for the OINP Tech draws, you must have an active profile in the Federal Express Entry Pool. Your Express Entry Profile must be registered under either the Canadian Experience Category or the Federal Skilled Worker Program.
How does the Tech Draw function?
The OINP conducts the Tech Draws under the Human Capital Priorities Stream. To order to qualify under the Human Capital Priorities Program, you do not need a job offer. Eligible candidates must meet the Human Capital Priorities System eligibility requirements. One must also have a total of one year’s work experience in a qualifying tech job.
The OINP Tech draws are designed to search for Express Entry candidates who have eligible tech experience and also meet the eligibility criteria for the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
In the latest Tech Draw, Ontario invites 954 Express Entry candidates. These candidates had work experience in the following occupations:
- Software Engineers & Designers
- Computer Engineers
- Computer programmers & interactive media developers
- Database analysts & data administrators
- Web designers & developers
- Computer & Information Systems Managers
